i know alot of people prefer turbocharging their cars because you can get more power out of a turbocharger. but i love the wine of a supercharger better than the spooling sound of a turbo. call me crazy but i do. are there any supercharger kits available for accents? those of you that have them or have custom built your own how does your accent perform with them?

There are none made. If you want to build your own setup it's possible, someone else did a few years ago. Faith's comment above is true though also, you'll have to really push things to make more than about 30 extra hp with a supercharger on the Accent.
I remember a white one on hp.com and he had to cut large peace of his hood out to accomodate it. So sure it can and has been done. But is stated above it can be down. But if you really want a supercharger drop in a beta and get a proper setup and boost atleast .7 or .9. Would hate for you to go through all that fab work time and money and come out with a slow car. I know as hyundai modders we are always trying to reinvent the wheel. But for godsakes. We where blessed with the beta swop. USE IT
