ok i know that the smt6 has 2 maps is it possible/a good idea to have one map be just the supercharger and the other be a supercharger/35shot mix?

i know that with the nitrous it would chill the incoming air about 60+degrees so it would help but can my motor handle it is the question nana.gif
i would use a wetkit and probably run premium with a octane booster when i run both but how hard do you guys think it would be to setup?

here is basically what i plan on using

a m62 with a clutch or a m90 i havent decided yet
alltrac water/air intercooler (jdm yo!)
banshee radiator with fan to run the water through it
ford lightning electric water pump
2.25 charge pipe
42# injectors (440cc)
probably a head spacer
smt6
walbro pump
vortec 12:1 fmu
maybe a second row of injectors (not sure yet)

and spray the wetkit after the intercooler

would it be hard to set this up?

 

Unless your planning on upgrading the pistons,... i dont recommend it.

 

Why's that Jaws? He won't be making more than 200whp with the superchager and 35 shot won't hurt that much IMO.

 

Oh yes it will..

that little 35 shot will give him about an extra 50whp, because of the charger,..

Now considering he is tinkering with 2 variables that can cause detonation,...

Better safe than sorry...

Unless he his GREAT, I MEAN GREAT, trust in the abilities of whom ever is tuning his car,..... i dont recommend it.


also to note... he is not using the standard alpine charger. He will be using a different unit that will be intercooled.
