Ant,

I have not seen Kuk's turbo system. The nicest setups I have seen for the Alphas are kits from Australia.

Have you ever even seen a Lanos? There would be no room even without a hood.
Then you must have one big jumbo supercharger. Which unit do you have? Please tell me its not the one off the GM V6.

There is not anymore or any less room in the lanos engine bay between the intake manifold and the firewall, and the top of the intake manifold and the hood than there is on the Beta motor, and there is a supercharger that fits in there.

In yamaneko's engine bay! *lol*

Alpine devleopments makes a kit, as does CAPA in Austraulia. (www.capa.com.au)

Neither have Daewoo applications listed however.

The tibby and the Daweoo engine bay are not that similar, but they are similar in that they don't have much room to work in.

I know CAPA has turbo and supercharger kits for the 1.5L accent motor, and your woo' motor is closer to them than a Tibby motor. They point was, if they can make it fit for a beta and an Alpha, they can probably make it fit for a woo motor.

Hey Random, we read the same bedtime stories, are you my long-lost big bro by any chance? JK

AgentEight: Your idea is creditable. For a hybrid engine ie. Honda Insight, which runs on electricity as well as a gasoline engine. The supercharger can be powered by the cells when the vehicle is operating on the gasoline engine. Simply put, the idea of effectively using an electrical supercharger is simply not energy-efficient, versus the concept of the standard supercharger which runs off the crankshaft(eventually, design pending) or a turbocharger, which runs off the exhaust pulse(energy which would be wasted into the atmoshpere)

I'm not downing your idea man, lots of crazy things were cooked up either in fever dreams or in a drunk stupor, but you gotta think of one thing: your induction desigh should run off energy that is ALREADY there, and not require another powersource in the car. Both modern superchargers and turbochargers follow this concept, you would be well advised to do the same.
