how much does it typically cost to build up a supercharger? has anyone besides faith looked into this? im just playing with ideas..... and since i wont have 2 grand for a turbo for a long ass time. i thought maybe a s/c would be cheaper. and would still give me a decent whp..... kinda.

you should have bought those gaskets ($2 each) and kept the turbocharger. and if you buy a supercharger you're still going to have to replace the heads in your engine or else after a certain early mileage it'll detonate. i've got a lot of work to do on mine plus tuning.

supercharger costs more than $2,000 also, i was lucky to get mine.

if you don't like N/A, stick with a turbocharger. it will use your engine less and kick in at desired times so less engine wear.

A supercharger is more expensive. You should have kept your turbocharger! tongue.gif But seriously, you can go NA and still be fast, there are some people on the site who have done that.

While Faith is doing all the hard work. (one of these weekends I gotta come up and see how you are doing) I have been conversing with him here and there on the subject.

Honestly, I think the most expensive part of this is going to be the brackets. Unlike the Alpine kit, his will NOT be built into the intake manifold.

I am not going to say more, that is for him to do.

Searching would own all of you, this has been discussed, in length, recently.
