How about stealing the pulley from the A/c and using it on the s/c?

what could happen is belt slip..
we've built a car at the shop with a quite large ATI procharger blower using a 12 ribs belt and if the belt isn't VERY tight the belt will slip...
for low boost you shouldn't have problems. .but better build it tough
