Exactly what mine, Gary's, Maxxtib's, and probably several others does. If you reset the ECU, it'll work fine for a while, but will go back to running lean in the mid area. If it bogs like you said, let off because it's running lean.
Tim - One thing I've noticed is that it is happening with the 00-01 Tibs. Could be just a coincidence though.
Jon, EL Tiburon has a 2000 model and he says he dont have this problem.
ok, so i rigged up the unichip in such a way that now the factory computer is reading boost all the time.... the hesitation is gone or atleast very limited casue it hasnt' done it in 3 days.... however im still only running 7lbs (if my autometer gauge is reading right)... Has anyone with the alpine turbo kit made actual cold air, cause im think im going to cut threw the fender well below the battery and see if i can draw some cold air....
quit dicking around with the unichip and do it right. get an e-manage with the additional MAP sensor and do it the right way by clamping the voltage on the MAF and use the MAP sensor to detect the boost and adjust the fuel.. but thats what you get with the shitty alpine kit
