This has been long awaited..... I want to say years ago(But I'd average around 18 months) since Red & I spoke about getting the details on these swaps.

All the swaps like this one are done in my garage. I am the only fully korean vehicle that is tuned there.

Please scale down those pictures. Ive changed them to links for now, when you resize them, post links to them and ill edit them into the original post

And im a little confused as to why you would take out the beta engine to put in the sr20det. At first i thought you made it RWD, then i see you didnt, would have been easier to just boost the beta.

If you were to put a RB26DET in there that would be different but theres not too much to gain with a sr20det swap, the wow factor is there tho

Eh, the SR20 is god damn bulletproof and proven so through the aftermarket community... thus... cheap, available parts compared to that of the beta. If the beta can ever prove it self to the outside world, then it would have been easier. That is a sexy conversion...

That engine was legendary in the Nissan community back when I owned a sentra. All of us running GA16DE's wished we were running that...

Ditto when I owned my 200. I was close to getting it at one point, but after learning about it and all the hype I just said f-ck it. I was going to turbo my GA16 until I saw the price of a turbo kit and then few weeks later I got the tib lol

Its an interesting swap and I give props.

But the SR20 isnt all that great. The gasket in that mf'er is weak and once you up the boost itll go. One thing you should get is a copper gasket.

Id think parts were more expensive for the SR20 now? Back when I had the 200 the turbo SR20 cost around $1500 I believe. Now Ive seen them go for around 3-4k. Jeesh lol
