ok Im looking at it right now....going to install it next tuesday so I got a few questions for people that have it installed.

1. im not installing my turbo untill next winter so sould I leave the MAF sensor in for now and tune from that or change it to MAP now?

2. I will be using nitrous so im going to run it off of the 5th injector controls. has anyone tryed this? and what was the outcome.

3.does any one have a tune setup on there smt6 for nitrous and N/A that they can send me since there is nobody in my city that knows how to tune piggybacks?

4.can you give me some pointers and things to look out for while tuning with this unit?

thanks

1. Might as well change to MAP now, when you have less on your mind. Making the turbocharger perform as it should causes enough problems, getting the tuning part out of the way is the way to go (which is why your going to do the install before the turbo). It won't cause any problems.

2. Turbo and nitrous? Exactly what setup are you going to run? Running nitrous into the TB isn't the best idea in some cases of F/I, depending on how you have it setup. Sometimes running nitrous to the intercooler yields slightly better/safer results.

3. Have to go out of city. Tuning can vary greatly from car to car, depending on the car's internal condition, altitude, even the outside temperature. Which is one reason why you don't tune on a dyno on extremely hot or cold days if you want the best possible tune for most days. I would highly recommend you go to a dyno that can tune your SMT-6, or tune it yourself on a dyno. Getting plots from other cars isn't the best way to go.

im not running tubo and nitrous...well maybe......I have been running nitrous on my car now for a year (zex dry kit 75hp shot) but since I wont be using the 5th injector untill the tubo goes on. the smt6 will control the nitrous with the wireing for the 5th injector kinda like a progressive controler, so I was wondering if anyone has tryed it yet or am I the first one...kinda like the ginny pig...lol
