Alrite guys. I've been doing A LOT of reading and I've decided that when viper sends me my turbo kit I will be tuning it myself. This will be my first experience tuning, but hey, you have to start somewhere. I'm planning on running 8 psi until i get time to install clutch, pistons, and so forth. Since its my virgin time I was wondering if anybody would be willing to share their fuel map with me to give me a good base to work off of.
Setup:
8 psi
smt 6
525cc inj
255lph fp
aem fpr
tial external wastegat
forge bov
garret t3/t4 turbo
any map or suggestions are appreciated
thanks

your running a dual fuel rail setup i take it? or no?
i wish i could help, but i have the emanage.. lol or i would be willing to give you ALLL my maps, for 8psi, 10psi, 12 psi, ignition retard, etc.. but your going with teh ghey smt-6, lol.. no im jk, nothing wrong with the smt-6 i just love teh emanage..
btw, wtf does your forum name mean
tuning yourself, is pretty dang easy, once your get the hang of it, well, its REALLY easy with the emanage, but i duno how it is with the smt-6.
i can probably give you some values for my airflow maps, and fuel injector durations for my 8psi map.. might help you..
i duno how broad the maps are for the smt-6 though, emanage are 16 X 16.

those are my values that i have set for my airflow and secondary fuel rail. i am using 340cc on my second rail, so IF you are using a second rail, you will need to decrease the amount of fuel that you are using at certain rpm/boost, or you will run UBER rich..
FYI: my boost limiter cut is clamped at 5.00v, i am running a WOT AFR of ~12:1, and my t3/t40e turbo is a 50trim.

^^^ Wow...lots of info...I am not running dual rails for 8 psi, but i will when i move up to 14. I hear that just the smt6 will work fine for 8 psi.

shimano-guy,
that pdf link that i have shared to you on your thread question, should have given you an idea on where to start in tuning
http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=18211&hl=
then coupled with my wiring diagrams
http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=15008
you should be on well your way...
do a search on which guys here have similar setup from you and nicely ask them lol.gif

ya, its just gonna be kind of hard to help well, because most of the guys have a dual fuel rail setup, and theyre maps would be alot different, cuz of the second rail, and then some people run SAFC, or just FMU, etc.
i can try and locate my single rail map, and post it up.. i ran single rail for like one day, and it was set for 8psi, got it from t4 turbotib, but i had problems with my injector harness..
ahh, here it is..

that was for my 340cc, and you have 525cc, so you would wanna do that correction, and re interpolate for your adjustment..
i think that just using the correction factor would be too big of a jump for it to run right..

yes, this one:

Current Setup:
T3 super 60 internal gated
8 psi
recirculated dsm 1g bov
stock fpr
gsx fuel pump
440cc injectors
smt-6 (with the above map)
it runs a tad bit rich but I don't have a wideband anymore to fix it so I'll have to do it later. and there isn't a dyno around anymore.. the place that had it closed.
