That's why I told him the SAFC won't work. But for some reason he won't believe me or the stickies. So I'm pretty much done here.

just let him learn from the lesson.
SAFC sucks for our RDs, especially for our 8bit ECUs.
I guess he will come back crying for help! LOL

Jon, way to handle the thread man, really. Flex dat muscle.

LOL

Okay, the problem is seen. Adam wants to go the cheap route with the SAFC for tuning, he will run into the same problems everyone else does with it and then have to change his system after that. that's fine, if he doesn't want to do it right the first time, let him handle it.

Adam, the problem is, when you use a SAFC for the majority of your running conditions, the ECU will learn around it and just work past all the adjustments with the SAFC. I know you said you read all the threads and stickies, so I know you know this. In the future, if anyone has problems with a moderator, just report the thread, and we'll all look at it. I really see nothing wrong here, and SNOT is the least offensive thing I would have ever heard on here.

Now, let's get back together here and love one another.

ha alrighty.

i have read all this on the safc and am aware of it.

my car is being purchased by a local and is insisting i put something in there for him with different injectors because of the fuel problem i discussed in my for sale section. i figured i would still tune it as much as we could for him before handing it over.

he claims he is taking it to some chasis dyno place the next town over once everything is in to have it done properly but he wants to be able to get it there. i am paying for none of these parts (safc or injectors) so i am just running the setup he wants but i dont know much about the NA points so thats what i needed. so thats why all i needed to know is the NA points, i dont care about how well it'l work vs. a standalone.

but thanks anyways
