So...The turbo rebuild was a fail!!, I dont know what they did but after being fed oil and coolant for 15 mins, she sounded like a wounded terminator!, so, back to the shop., arrrgggh!!!!!!!!!!
so ,The tib sits again awaiting a turbo .
So I picked up another project the otherday that has been keeping me busy the last few days........ a 93,4tec 5 sp...Hmmm v8 maybe???

"who you went through for the rebuild? ". I went through my friends shop "Raven Autosport",he sends his turbo's to quebec for the rebuilds, I forget the company's name but will get it for you.
"Props to whoever did that S10 graphic". Its painted, the entire truck bed is done with the same speckled paint,It was actually painted over a decade ago but was stored in a garage for the past 10 years.,A fella named Wayne at "Friends in low places" paintshoppainted her., Paint is almost as sweet as the tibs!,no specs, fisheyes or anything!

Not a fan of the dash, but holy sh*t those wheels are sick! I want.
What was the cause of the turbo sploding?

The Tib is working great!, but its time for some routine maintenance.
Got a front left and a rear right bearing to press in. (I just didnt like the sound the rear made when free spining, and the front had a wee bit of play)
The brembo rotors have been on the tib over 6 years and have worked great, but after all the track time, the drilled holes are starting to spider
I was gonna do the bbk swap, but, then I'd need bigger rims for my MT slicks.,so I went with the slotted and dimpled ebc rotor instead
.
Since I had 2 tibs, I have a few new greenstuff pads laying around still..I know I should probably be going with yellow, but since I have them,.
and they do seem to wear well!, even the ones I'm replacing still have a lot of pad left on them.
just coilover pics..I love these TP at the track!!
Thats all for tonight, back together tomorrow, allignment, and I'm good to go

update... maxed out 580cc injectors.
video 22.8 psi pull
New(to me) 1000cc precisions, mocked up in an old rusted rail, new wideband sensor, and since I only have one wheelbearing I've never replaced yet....
dyno/tune this week, track this weekend, if everything goes well.
Racing got rained out..Spent 5 hours on the dyno.quit at 3 am (falling asleep) at 302 hp and 309 tq.. still have some more tuning to do next week,I'll post a sheet after that...
