i been thinking and asking a few people about this yet not a reasonable answer yet.

i was thinking if i had a turbo capable of 275 hp right and lets say my car is around 250 hp and i want to put a 100 hp shot of nitrous into this car, would that affect the turbo since its only capable of 275 or nitrous wont affect it.

i was just thinking about this cause nitrous putting 100 hp more, thats mean more smoke have to come out right? means have to pass trough the turbo, means that would move the turbo faster right?

dunno maybe is a silly question but....

no, not a problem, nitrous would be put in after the turbo. typically right before the tb or actually in the manifold.

if you plan to do that you better have one heck of a motor!!!!!

edit: one quick side note, nitrous is a good compliment to a turbo'd car because it will further cool down the charge before it hits the motor. (compressed substance decompressed = cooling)

Ye, you are correct on all fronts. High end cars sometimes don't even spray nitrous during gears, but between them, to keep the turbo spooled up.

Most street turbocharged cars that use nitrous dont inject nitrous into the air stream, but usually spray it on the intercooler to knock down intake charge temperatures significantly.

I would say thats will probally mess up the engine. A better idea would be to use the nitrous until you hit a certain boost level.
