well I had everythign working fine i thought. I was getting spark and fuel. however the car doesnt want to start now. i think its because my injectors are not getting any power. I have everything hooked up just like Tim had it in the diagram and It wont start. I have not yet had the chance to check voltage to the injectors. I will do that tomorrow. The only thing I didnt follow was I did not run all new wires to the injectors and coil. I did not see how it would make a difference besides creating more of a hassle to wire it all up with new relays. The plugs are firing but I dont think there is any fuel being delivered, jsut cycled through the fuel rail and back to the tank. Any suggestions? I really really want to get this thing up so I can drive it for a bit before I need to put it away for winter. I hoped on getting to the track as well. Thanks

I've wired mine directly to the coils and it doesn't work. It needs an external amplifier (ignitor).

I then put the two coil wires back to stock and it fired right up. I did not need to use all those relays. Just wire the 2 PRS injector outputs to the 2 injector wires in the stock ECU. They are grounding wires that the PRS pulses! The injectors get power directly from the battery.

Try looking at it as running the PRS as a "piggyback" like you do an SAFC. Leave the coils/ignition for another day. The stock ECU will control those, the idle, and pump.

I've been driving the car for a few days, but it's running really rich. I'm still fine tuning it.

I get spark too, but it's not strong enough. Just try it without it.

ok i will try that. its going to be a pain though because i soldered the lead from the prs into it. ill figure something out i guess. I did check the injector wires and im getting power to them all. I guess I will check on the spark tomorrow.

The power to the injectors comes from the stock wiring, not the PRS.

Hmm i thought it did. Oh well. Im going to go over everything tonight and see what I can find

ok heres whats up. the spark is good. like better than it was before my standalone. the injectors are not being told to pulse. i think i said that right. i dont know where to look. i didnt run all new wires to them because i didnt think it was neccesary. i jsut soldered to the stock wiring. where do you think i should look?

Well, if you're willing to do it exactly like how i have it, then I can tell you step by step. But you would need to put pretty much all the stock wiring back together. Like I said, I just tapped the wires near the ECU harness like a piggyback. It's running fine so far, just dont have the ignition hooked up yet.
