Forgot to answer this: I'm putting together a "hybrid" input shaft, consisting of a few 2.0L Tiburon drive gears, a few Elantra 2.0L drive gears and final drive. I'm wanting to extend 1st and 2nd gears by about 25%, 3rd gear by about 15%, 4th gear by about 10% and leave 5th gear basically alone.

This should allow me to get to around 120mph in 4th gear, which should be sufficient for running some high-11 second ET's eithout having to shift into 5th and potentially grinding it into sand.

The differential is being replaced by Quaife, and I'm actually NOT going to touch the axles until after I start breaking them. Junkyard axles are cheap, plentiful and I honestly don't know that the stockers are weak enough to warrant replacement. Wheel hop is the #1 breaker of axles in the Honda world; stock Civic Si axles can take 300+WHP without snapping on a good suspension AND slicks.

If I start braking axles, I'll send the $500 to The Driveline Shop and get a set of ubotanium ones

I hope you don't mind when, in two years when I have the money (and the garage), I copy you verbatim.

Nah, doesn't bother me. I don't like being secrative or having people posting "I gotz madd powah" without EVER telling you what they did to their car. If I find something that works or something that the Hyundai community can use as a whole, then it gets posted where everyone can see.

The ONLY part I'm being secrative about right now is the cams, only because it was requested by the person giving them to me. After dyno results are obtained, the cam manufacturer and price will be publically available. Anything/everything else in my project is publically available.
