Because my dad won't let me get the turbo until next summer I was wondering what I should do until then?
I was thinking of getting the Ramair and TB 70mm(they are sold out right now on kspec.com) Would this be good or something else.
I don't want anything that I have to take back off like a cai or header.
I don't know if those new clutches are for automatics or not, but they are pretty expensive for me $800 so I don't want one if I don't have to.
I am also thinking about a transmission cooler
Has anyone put a turbo on an Auto Tib before?

Yes, Airram and BBTB sound good. What about strut bars, pistons(for later use) or upgrading your brakes? What exactly have you done so far to your Tib?

I almost have my turbo in my tib ( auto ).... but first the clutch are only for manual trannies... so with clutch you dont have to worry about..... think in a oil tranny cooler....or and in tranny swap....

first of all.... how much boost are you thinking?!?!.....

after that you´ll be able to get start to think what are gonna be the mods in your car....

Default *EBAY ALERT!!* 2nd Gen Steering Column Upper Half Cover

RamAir would be good untill you get the turbo. You could also get the 1.8 intake cam as well.

the ram air is not a bad start.. neither would a cat back exhaust system, you are going to need that anyway to get the most out of the turbo. The 1.8 intake cam is also a nice and easy mod.

Also read above.. I am a firm believer that if you are going to boost the HP of a car.. you had best be certain the car can handle it. My first car was a hidiously overpowered vdub superbeetle with NO brake or suspension mods.. not even aftermarket rims... car taught me a LOT about oversteer... So take it from somebody who has been there.. keep the car a comprehansive package and you will enjoy it a lot more.

Right now it is all stock, 4 point seatbelts. I am thinking about 10 psi. Is the 1.8 intake cam the one from the elentra? where should I get it from? I am not even going to try to put it in so does anyone know how much a mechanic will charge $50, $200? The better brakes I can definetly get my parents permission on.When you say better brakes do you mean they brembo brake kits or just rotors and pads? And do they make strut bars that work with the airram?
Thanks for all of the help.

Do you think that new pads on the stock rotors will improve your braking or do you really need new rotors. I mainly drive on the street but I am going to do autocross once in a while
