Pcv Valve + Boost
When examining my PCV valve, I noted that when I blew into it, the spring closed, and when I sucked on it, the spring opened. Of course this is the basics of PCV operation. However, because my car is a turbo setup, I have a big question. I run my pcv, from the crankcase, to the oil catch can, then to the air intake. Now, the pcv seals when you go into boost, and also I have a secondary breather on the crankcase as well.
Now why do I have to remove the PCV valve system from the air intake manifold, if the fear of pressurizing the crankcase is removed when you have a secondary atmosphere breather on the crankcase next to the PCV valve? The pcv valve seals when I give it pressure (think boost), and opens when I suck on it (vac). Now couldnt I attach a second PCV valve in conjuction with the primary pcv (2 incase 1 fails), and keep the secondary breather open? This seems very logical in my opinion, need some comments on this.

dump the pcv all together. turbo cars dont need that.. now this is what i have done..
get you a nipple that match up with the threads where the pcv valve "was" then get you a Y < it looks just like that.. run both line in to that Y spliter. Now get you a long rubber hose run it down the backside of the firewall.. or you can do what i did and run it down the backside of the fire wall along under the bottom of the car and out the back.

the resion i did it this way is so that in the event that oil spray comes out. you dont get it on "your tires" and crash... i have used it for a 1 year now and no problems at all
or you can run it into a oil catch tank if you want but you dont nee the pcv valve one you go boosted well here they dont...
