I am currently using the stock coil packs for my set up. Last night I decided to turn up the charge going to the coil packs. I went from 3.0 mS to 3.8 mS and the difference was HUGE.

Now my question is does anybody know the how much the OEM coils can handle before they fry?

Could other haltech users share how much of a Coil Charge Time you are using.

Thanks,
Gary

mess around with all the charge times.....turn it up to 8.0sec see what happens....if you fry the pack go buy a used from from a junkyard....they cost between 40-60 bucks!

I just checked all the maps I have access to. They vary from 3.8 to 5.3

I would try bumping it out to 5.3 and see how it does.

Ahh they're just playin it safe. 5.3 it is!!!!!! I dunno what I'm talking about but 97tibby has a decent point. You'd be a pioneer. LOL

In all honesty see what happens at 4.5ms
