I have looked through the evo turbo builds and i have decided i would want to go with the obx style manifold. But im not dead set on obx i might go with the megan instead.

However there are 2 different designs this first one is the one i have seen people use here for their evo setups.

This one is significantly cheaper, but my question is why are there runners at the flange of the manifold, They connect opposite sides of the exhaust flow.

You know exhaust gases from cylinder 1&4 have to have their own collector, and same goes for 2&3 in order to efficiently utilize twin scroll.

Get the first one because it at least comes with a partial dump tube and is off set towards the driver's side which is what you want. The other one dumps in the middle and will be a pain to create a custom downpipe.

Both manifolds place the turbo in the same place. The only difference may be material and flow.
