Whats up everyone....Im just starting a turbo project..Should be done in about 12 months...I have a 2000 tiburon automatic

I figured i would post and tell everyone what is going on...

The 1st thing i am doing is building up my Tranny..It is in the shop as we speak being rebuilt to handle around 450 HP..

its costing me around $2500

thats it for now...Anything you wanna know just respond...

Turbo/manifold/wastegate/downpipe/injectors/engine management details???

 

Well actually lets start with that tranny. do have the details of what you are getting for that $2500? Are you going through Level10.com or have you sourced something localy?

 

Ya let us know about the tranny!I'm not sure if i want upgrade my auto tranny,or go for a 5 speed swap?I hear it is better to just upgrade the auto.Well let us know how it goes

As fo the tranny...i was thinking about Level 10, but they wanted $3200...For pretty much the same thing...
I went to a local shop that builds transmissions..
My transmission:
Valvebody Recalibrated, Upgrading Torque converter, heavy duty peformance clutches and reaction plates etc..

Stage 2 Turbine T4 shaft
Water cooled center core
360 degree thrust
Anodized back plate,
AR60 comp housing
60-1 comp wheel

Manifold: Ballistic Racing Stainless steel with flanges and studs (polished) Incl W/gate port

WasteGate:Ballistic wastegate

DownPipe: Ballistic Racing 63mm Down Pipe with drilled flange

ECU: Haltech E6K

Injectors: Not sure exactly. Between 550cc and 840cc

Fuel Pump: 10 BAR
