ok here we go......
I have the Flex-a-Lite 220's, while getting the turbo installed by a buddy of mine I received a call saying "you need new fans they are touching the turbo". I was like "you are kidding right!?!". well I am back in NY and I went to the shop last night and the darn turbo is touching the center of the plastic shroud. mad.gif
has any one else encountered this problem? what fans are you using?
help please. 02.gif

that puts the turbo FAR too close to the radiator for safety. I would definatly make sure that your engine mounts are in excelant shape. Looking into the YaYa mounts.. you do not need the turbo hitting the radiator on a hard shift and punching a hole in it.

You'll need slim fans man. Not the Flex-A-Lite fans. Sorry.
The slimline fans don't have the shroud (they don't look as nice either) so they are smaller. You can also position them lower or higher depending on your application.

the flex a lites are slim fans, its just that they are the stock size. those other crappy slim fans arent the correct size and will not perform as good as the flex a lites.
