Just watch for any cracks and things like that. Wouldnt be a bad idea to have the welds reinforced if you know someone.

yeah it's an obx. And what Denis said above is very true. It's close enough that the diameter of the actuator WILL make the difference. I ended up chopping off the flange on my old header to use as a spacer to place the turbo a bit further from the block. It fit without the spacer, but it was close enough to make me nervous (engine vibrations and whatnot). No leaks so far!

I have the Maintec Race Manifold and have no fittment issues. I do have a smallish actuator though.

haha, @ sleeper! how'd you flatten the cut-side surface of the header flange to 0.000 Do you have a close up picture of this?

yeah, im still a little weary on the fitment with a internal.

the turbos in my kit will be int. gated garrett super 60s, and it just comes with w/e actuator garretts come with..

ill be able to see the fitment issues soon, and go more in depth on how it fits, or lack thereof.

LOL yeah it was a pain, but I essentially sanded it down with a grinder. Took forever but It was smooth eventually. laugh.gif Just sandwiched it with an extra gasket and it hasn't ever leaked.

was looking at the garrett actuator, and if your actuator was just enough to fit, the garrett will not fit..

so you will need a smaller actuator by the looks of things FOR SURE, unless you put another flange in between head and manifold.

ill be able to take a better look like i said in a couple weeks, but i am going to order a smaller actuator, just so i can be SURE.
