Do any of you guys have an internal wastegate set up? If so which manifold are you using? I don't want any clearance issues. I read on another forum that the OBX manifold, if used with an internal wastegate, hits the motor, and that was the one I wanted. Any input?

theres not many manifolds made, but the OBX does have fitment issues with internal gate. you could extend the arm of the actuator to provide clearance though.

in my kit ill be using a custom SS log style manifold that the flange is offset and angled so the internal gate wont be a problem.

the obx will work
it'S made just like my old motoria manifold
you need a small diameter actuator and need to mount it right behind the inlet

It'll work it's just a PITA if your new to turbo'ing and clocking em. 3-4 fitments later it'll fit just fine, just real snug.

offtopic.gif Sorry I think I've only done it once. May I ask why though? (I'm not trying to be difficult I'm just wondering)

it keeps from having to read the last entry in the thread, again.

if you want to react to someone right after they post, do this. ^^^

it keeps the size of the thread down in terms of scroll length and not to mention the fact that is looks better. oh, and one more thing, it keeps the EVIL NAZI RED ZMAN off your tail. lmao.gif

trust me, if you want to see a place where they quote after each entry, i can show you one, totally annoying as hell.

He forgot the most important reason: It's part of the site rules.

By the way that pic looks like OBX manifold to me.

^^ Oh I didn't see that when read them. Anyway, I think I'm going to end up going with the OBX manifold just because it's cheap and looks nice.
