If you remove it, then you can open your throttle for idle. Or make a hole. Or use the Haltech/PRS to control an idle controller.
I don't have any IACV, the Mustang TB lets just enough air bypass to have a good idle. But yes the Haltech, PRS, etc.. all have provisions for the IACV.

Do streight runners on the intake manifold realy let the air flow better ? The pic of that EVO intake manifold with the velocity stacks being raised, ok its proven that it works great, but if you make the (block that is welded against the runners) like a funnel towards the runners doesn't that make the air enter the cilinder head better ?
Where exactly is the idle control thing at? is it the thing that sits behind/above the IM and has a hose from your CAI running to it? cause that thing is a friggin pain in the ass
