Default I want to go turbo

I really want to go turbo. Could anyone suggest a good turbo kit that is reasonably priced, and isnt going to push my engine too hard into blowing itself out.

I guess what im really worried about is blowing out my engine and voiding my warranty, is this a big threat with a turbo?

yah you should hit up tim here in his section, or at speed-factor.com. some simple searching around the site would have yielded these results. Warrantee= gone w. turbo, easy to figure out why. do some research on turbos if you havent already...

You definatly need to do some searching. A nice low boost turbo set up from Tim is what you are looking for (unless you WANT an all out motor) so I would talk to him.

Going to leave this open for him to respond.

All depends on how intelligent you drive... if you keep everything in check there is no reason for your motor to "blow."

Basically the only "kit" option you have right now is Tim... that or build your own (Alpine just sucks). He has a monopoly. tongue.gif

supposedly H.A.R.D. will be supplying us RD's with some turbo kits (they're working with Hyundai). Check around here for a post by JD (redturbulance) or just look at nt.com (where it's goin down!).

BUT...they've been saying that for 2 years now, but I have a feeling something will come out soon. wink1.gif

not under warranty, just "available" like an aftermarket kit.

The details are "shady", personally....when I think of turbos for RD's all that comes to mind is you Tim. Lets keep it that way (seems to have worked out fine for years.....)
