Default Has anyone tried the Synapse BOV?

I was reading about the Synapse BOV (http://synapseengineering.com/) and it seems that this unit allows vent to atmosphere on MAF. I was wondering if anyone has tried this unit? And what dis/advantage is there to venting out to the atmosphere?

It's almost twice as much as the one I was looking at buying, but if the advantage is there I might be swayed.

But what benefit would it have over, say, a Tial in it's same price range?

Synapse makes some excellent products. If your looking to get some BOV 'psssssft' sound but maintain good drivability then this BOV is the way to go. You probably won't find many first hand experience with the Hyundai crowd because we're all cheap bastards!! LOL

I have been reading a lot of great responses on the Tial units both here and on some of the other forums.

I might just go with that as the known good, but the Synapse sparked my interest since I am trying to research the hell out of these products before I buy. This is my first personal turbo project and I want to make sure I get it right. After watching some of my friends blow their sh*t to pieces with cheap parts and half-assed builds I'm pretty weary.
