I didn't see this posted already but..on NT.com they have a post about HARD parts made by BSE and they have a turbo kit out for the RD Tiburon. Has anyone heard of this and how does it compare to SpeedFactor.

i spoke with bill smulo of bse a few days ago, and he supposedly has everything fabricated and done. he has a stage 1 kit (42% increase to about 165ish whp @ 5lbs) and a stage 2 kit (200 whp). i couldnt get him to get me any pics so i got some one in his area to check out his stuff and take some pics hopefully. yea, he said that he has been working on this stuff (with hyundai) for about 2 years now and the parts should be available through the dealers soon (i dunno how soon that is). he said everytime they think theyre near finished something new pops up and costs them more time. he also said that hyundai has invested to much money in this to turn back.

i know theese parts exist. you can see the tiburon on the hyundaiusa tuner site that has the bse kit in it. and i called the shop to get specs on the kit before i spoke with bill, and they didnt tell me anything but the kit except that it was installed and not fully tuned. it was like top secret. and everybody knows about the parts at the SEMA shows.

i was also told the stage 1 kit consists of a borg warner k04-023 turbo (which would be good to 250 hp) and a tuning box by bse to control the fuel. also the stage 2 kit would have a 5th injector. he also has a full suspension setup.

that is all i know, i plan on going to his shop within the next month or 2 to check things out. hope that clarifys any ?'s

its for the 01-05 beta... which probly means itll fit all rds??

 

nah, it says 01-05 elantras and tibs.

the 01 elantras had beta IIs. they were generalizing; unfortunately it doesnt include us.

 

Ehh, HARD was supposed to come out like almost 2 years ago. Big deal, like we need em.

 

i want theyre exhaust manifold. .... and maybe their charge piping
