laugh.gif As we all Know when you going Stand alone Evrthing in the car gets Wiped out with all the sensors including CEL etc....
Just wondering when you installed the Haltech in your car did anyone re-hook up any additinal sensors so that its Visablbe and functional on the Cluster.
For example Oil pressure light,Low battery,Water temp light, pretty much all the lights on the Cluster....
If you already have an External Oil pressure gauge,Oil temp gauge,Water temp etc its NOT really nesssary to have both but you can ....
Now if you would want to hook them up would i have to remove my Cluster and manually cut the wires and join them to the haltech or the External gauges i have?
Which would be the easiest way?
Or actaully hard wire if from the ECU harness plug end of it
Any help would be appreciated.....

It would be easier to use external gauges, or just keep a cheap used laptop in your car hard-wired to a power inverter if you want all that data all the time.
I don't think anyone has wired up the idiot lights (low oil, low bat, etc) to the haltech.

the only thing hooked up to my cluster is the tach...
Your oil light will work, low fuel light will work, your speed wil work, and your water temp will work if you keep your ECU and sensors connected.
Remove the CEL...
That thing will blink soo much it will drive you nuts...

All my dash "idiot" lights work and i don't have the ECU or any trace of the factory wiring in the car. laugh.gif
whenever u follow my instructions it will
the low coolant light is driven by its own ecu dependant wire
so is the low oil pressure switch
as well as the low battery light
everything works.... hyundai was good with that

Ya like Viper has mentioned all the indicator lights DO NOT run to the ECU except the Tach Signal.
I got some diagrams from the dealer and shows which pins do what.
Since my compelte wire harness is ripped out i gotta trace which wires and connect them individually to the sensors which is gonna be fun to make my indicator lights to work
