We need much more info on what you plan to do with the ECU and goals you have for the car. Overall, I like the Haltech unit I have. Its very reliable, has features that many cheaper and sometimes more expensive units do not have. If you plan on going standalone, I suggest being patient, saving your money, and getting an E8.

Hey there Tommy!

I like your car, lol. Saw it in the vid damon sent me. THANKS SO MUCH for letting him use your car to get my base map! I greatly appreciate it.

I have an e6x, and as it is not installed in the car yet, I can't tell you what I think about it just yet, but from what I have read on this forum it works well with our cars and for daily driving. The E8 is MUCH more advanced than the e6x, so definately go with that one for the couple extra hundred. And get Enthalpy to do a plug and play harness for you!!! You will not regret it, I guarantee that!

Justin, I realize you are new, but use the search button. You'll find hundreds of threads about the Haltec and other standalone/piggybacks.
