I'm about to get my manifold and dp jethot coated and wasn't sure if i need to get that 2000 degree coat or not. what did you guys get and are you happy with it.

right now I'm leaning towards the sterling, it runs up to 1300 degree's.

 

1300 might not last long with a turbo..

ask them and see what they recommend..

Temperatures usually hover well above 1300 with a turbo.

EGT hovers around 1300 or so approaching 1500-1600 on full load

BUT your maniofld with the coating shouldnt see over 1k itself because the heat doesnt have time to soak in

I know for a fact that they reccomend the 2000. When I talked to Chris at jethot he said that even if the temperature never reaches that range the coating will still hold up a lot better. I went with the 2000 for my manifold

well i shipped it out today, getting jethot 2000 in grey.

I'll take some pics and let you guys know how i like it.
