Car finally kicked over last night after two cylinders were not firing. A fuel leak from the FPR, and a coolant line leak. But everything was fixed. The car was loud as f0ck without exhausting on it, only a downpipe. I got a chance to finally feel some exhausting with header wrap on it, it does make a difference. Car is at the exhaust shop to have the flexpipe, cat, and resonator install. Then, off to dyno!

lol, it looks like we started at the same time man. I started fri. night. Still not done though. need to find a couple fittings, make some additional modifications to my charge pipes, the oil pan, and I'll be done.

edit: btw, looks great, what all did you do on the fuel side of things and how much boost will you be running?

I added a Walbro 255, Bosch 440cc injectors, and a modified fuel rail along with a Aeromotive FRP.

looks really nice! is there more room behind the battery tray on the elantra's or something? or was there sawzall work involved?

Got the flex pipe, catalytic converter, and resonator welded on. The bkr6e-11 spark plugs were fouled out from starting the car for five minutes. Had to get it towed to the tuning shop, hope they will be able to install the smt-6 from there.

SMT was installed last night in about 3 hours. The wiring diagram was not loading in so I had to modify the global settings this morning on the car to get it to start and idle somewhat. More tuning tonight and hopefully it should be done.

If anyone wants to do a custom kit. I hope you will learn this from me. My total bill is 775 dollars so far, and the car is not even finished. Apparently since to guys were working on the car, I have been getting charged double for labor fees. And there is more tuning to finish the car.

I am so pissed, annoyed, angry at this point I want to pay the rest of what I owe and part the kit out.

Update: Car is finished. They got locked out of the SMT, and had to revert back to the DOS appliacation to changes values in the SMT-6. Overall, everything came to be 1200, but i traded him off some stuff and got it down to 1,000 even.

The MAF is setting off a CEL stating low voltage to it, but it is not hurting performance at all. The car is tuned and I ran it for an hour or so. It sure doe's sound different from what N/A ise to be. That turbo sound is there, and with the HKS bov, sounds nice. I pulled up to a v6 tibby and smoked him easily, I had about 3 cars on him by then end of first.

So, all in all, I am VERY happy with my car, at 7psi, its doing what its been meant to.
