I just finished recirculating my bov and started up the car. It's running better and doesn't bogg when i rev it but it idles at 2k now. Anyone had this issue before?
I've turned down the idle screw, checked for vacuum leaks, removed fmu.
here's more info on my install if you need it.

crap, I just came back from trying something else and when i went into chat jay left.
ok, here's what i did. I removed the maf then it idled at 1k again, really rough of course though. so i think some of the air coming from the bov is going out the maf. so i moved the maf further away. still the same problem.
edit:
Lol, I think the tib was just playing a little joke on me. I got out and started driving, I stopped at a red light and suddenly I thought that it had just died. I looked down and to my surprise there it was idling at a beautiful 900 rpm. smile.gif I'm betting it was just burning off some of the PB Blaster I used while putting on the vacuum lines.
so far I've boosted 3-4 psi. I'll have to get out on the highway to do anymore. (I was already doing 50 in a 35.)
so from what I can tell everythings ok!!! wink1.gif

lol... yeah, i was waitin' for you on flashchat... i saw you were active at the thread and i had a few minutes to spare, then i got paged for a service call...
but anyways, yes... i as gonna ask you if you have just started the car at that time, because cold start idle higher, not too mention if you have the de-foger and the ac on, then on top of this, there's also a case of having a vacuum leaks which will further add up to higher idle.
basically, you just had to let the car warm up...
glad, it's all good now
