Engine Swap
Funny...because it was a bunch of Koreans who tested the Delta engine with nitrous and blew it at 300hp.

Random Ripps SDS owner posting his pulls
I also went to S3 last year (I have the vid somewhere) and saw Ross (owner of Ripps) pull his car on the dyno and in front of 20+ spectators, pull 300+whp/300+ft-lbs. But it's really not that amazing, seeing how his car is the only car that hasn't had issues (everyone else has problems with shaft play, leaking oil from the compressor, etc...the real problem is the driveshaft design,...but this is a totally completely off-topic subject).
You will learn to hate the Beta. It's nothing spectacular. Turboing the Beta is the best choice...unless you really want spend a lot of money on doing an engine swap. And to be honest with you, I don't think anyone on here will ever do a swap for the V6 (not only b/c it would be a waste of money); no one on here even has that kind of money to put into their cars, let alone only a small handful have started turboing theirs.
I highly doubt you have that kind of money...otherwise, you would've bought a better car by now.

Until this year there were VERY high taxes on engines with larger than a 2L displacement. THis year it was about halved, so the Delta market in Korea will climb. Hell, in the first year of the Delta for the Tib in Korea, only 4,000 of them were made for Korean sale. 4,000!!! With the similarity of the Beta 1 and 2, it's easier to just go with what they know.
You'd be the first person I've heard say that the Delta is almost as light as the Beta, but I can't find the website with the specific data anymore.
This is not going to stay on topic.
