Egt Readings?
when i drive on the highway constant at about 75 MPH (for you americans) i'm at about 1150.. the highest i've seen it go when i'm at full boost rippin it is at around 1250.. so i guess from what you guys are sayin i should be fine.
dang.
does that mean i'm in trouble or something?
I just saw SOCK's reply on the EGT reading, and his A/F is higher than mine (10.0-11.5 -> Dyno tuned) at WOT.
my EGT sensor is located right in front of the 3rd cylinder when you count from the passenger side.

Well, to inform some of you guys, DSMs run their EGT at 1650 at WOT. They call that their sweet spot. Anything over you start running into trouble. Our engines, and their engines are very similar in certain aspects, I wouldn't be surpised that our EGT's can clime to 1500-1600 with no problems.
BTW nate, put your EGT 2"s away from #1 cylinder, or #4, theres a big debate about that.
I have mine located in #1.

in a dsm cyl #1 is the leanest because of the FPR location
on a beta if we fallow the same logic it should be cyl #4
but with if you have a dual rail then you have to check how your regulator and fuel lines are hooked up
