Hey guys, I am going turbo mid-end of august. I was originally planning on having airborne tune the ecu, but he has disappeared, so now I guess I'm stuck with using a smt6. I have never read into tuning an ecu, so my question is where to start the learning process.

Whats the easiest route to take?

if you know nothing about tuning id say your best bet would be to go to a good dyno shop and have them do it.

I've never done tuning myself, but If you don't know what you are doing, you will probably lean out and blow up your engine.

Learning = Searching

there are tons of info here in rdtiburon!!!

make sure that you have a wideband o2 sensor or even an egt/wideband combo.

we could prolly help you more if you tell us what your setup would be like

^^^^

Well basically I'm going to be using viper's evo kit (not the garrett turbo) and i was going to use airborne's ecu but I obvisouly can't anymore. I've also selected the following parts:

Megan Racing EGT and Boost Gauges
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
ACT Clutch Kit with heavy duty pressure plate
Racetronix 525cc fuel injectors
Tigerlily Turbo U pistons (8.5:1)
Blitz Spec s Boost Controller
Apexi Turbo Timer

What kind of boost should this setup be able to handle being used as a daily driver?
