Default Do IC sprayers make a big difference?

A friend of mine is trying to get me to buy his IC sprayer for when I finally go boosted and I dont see the benefit in having one if you're not going balls to wall with crazy power. Maybe someone can explain it or tell me different, but otherwise I really dont see any need for them.

Only good for drag racing really. It will help cool the intake charge but only when you use the spray. Plus most road race/autocross tracks forbid the use of sprayers.

No. You're better off spraying the water inside the intake rather than on the intercooler.
