Different Spot For Oil?

like i said BPT. lol.. yeah, the side of the head is NPT, and so is the sending unit.. isnt it.. i have a 1/8 NPT in the sending unit spot right now and its perfectly fine..

but that one in the middle is definately a BPT.. i looked and looked for one for the longest time..

^^thats cause it's british standard pipe thread bsp or bspt. wink1.gif

I googled for british pipe thread and found nothing but references to bspt and bsp.

On topic, I'm running NPT thread as well in the head, no problems, although it might be a bit on the loose (if I tighten it anymore than what I have it now, the fitting rotates in the head) side. No oil residue or leakage however, so I think I'm okey dokey.

Off topic, BSP sounds cooler BPT, and google agrees. So neh. As proof:
