Default decompression plates

Hi guys. I bought a set of ARP head studs for my turbo install and I wanted to know if I need to put in some type of decompression plate with them to change the compression ratio or is it just better to buy a set of pistons? Someone I know said its a good idea but pistons are the way to go. Wanted to get the official word here from you guys since this is the most intuitive and knowledgeable hyundai forum I have been apart of.

Depends on your goals for HP

The plate is a bandaid in most cases but if your only lookin for 300 or so HP it would work just fine
