Well after about a year of waiting I am finally going to be buying my hana bumper and Seibon hood, so now its on it planning the next project while I finish this one... honestly my turbo knowledge is near to none. I do know that there is like noone but SFR and ebay that has kits that you just buy so I want to learn more about them and do a custom turbo set up. SO, what would be some reccomended reading for me and what are the parts that I will basically be needing? supporting mods? any info to help me learn is greatly appreciated.

Do you have the 2.0l or the 2.7l? Makes a pretty big difference which you have if you're thinking about going turbo.
Either way read Maximum Boost by Corky Bell.

no need to do a manual swap... the auto tranny is very strong, have a friend here in az goes by Minebetter on other forums, he has an auto V6 boosted and was running 12's last I knew.
yes but ive straight up seen people gain a full second in the quarter mile by swapping to manual
the V6 auto is a different animal than the beta auto
me and jongtr made up a grocery list for whats needed to turbo, no need to waste money and have someone "premake" you a kit
grocery list

understandable... im not lookin to smoke anything and everything at the track just a little pep in my step and a little more under the hood for show purposes when the tib goes full show...
manual swap before turbo..
as jon said, a guy on RDT blew up his diff only running 8lbs on the dyno.
v6 trans is different than the beta trans.
few months back, i did a kit for a 2006 GK 4cyl.
