ok...as we all know.. turbo's are amazing... especially the sound they make... specially hearing the blow-off valve go off...my father's S4 just absolutly sounds amazing when that blow off valve goes off.. **specially with it chipped (310 hp...370torque...0-60 5.0sec)...ohhh ; )...hehe... woops... got little off track.. i love that car wink ..

neways... my quetion is i dont have 4 g's american to blow to get a turbo for my tibby ;(.. but i love the sound of blow-off valves... is it possible to install a blow-off valve on my na tibby just for the sole purpose of getting that sound... or am i just running into a field of problems... and no i dont want to get that rice special thing that makes that sound...

You could buy those electric BOV,that make the same sound as a BOV,but why not save up for a turbo?

you might aswell get the turbo whislte rice thing because your trying to fake a sound when you don't have the actual part which in everybodies dictionary is rice and not cool

the sound a blow off valve makes comes from the pressurized ait escaping through the valve... almost the same kinda sound u get outa a pressurized air cannaster 4 cleanin dust...

you can get one of those turbines that goes at the end of the muffle...people say it makes a turbo sound then when u let off the gas is makes a BOV sound....buit ive never heard one

Without the little rice speaker BOV simulator, there is no way to get the "bov sound" without a turbo.

Sorry. frown

Neener neener.

But why a fake one? Jeez...you might as well carry a 24-volt cordless drill in your car and use it to sound more aggressive tongue.gif
