Default Turbo oil supply and return.

For those of you with turbos, I was wondering where you tapped the oil supply for the turbo from the engine block...Also where you drained oil from the turbo. Did you guys drill a hole in the oil pan?

yeah just tap into the oil pump which is at the end of the block to supply the turbo with the oil, theres some good pics on hma service then for the return lines my sump was modified, I didn't modify it but i can have a look to see how they did it. also while you are playing with the oil, get an oil cooler as it is well worth the extra $ as the oil will heat up a fair bit from the turbo! very good for reliability's sake!

I put a T on the pressure sensor for the supply and just tapped the pan(sump) for the return.

Looking for the pics. But I figured you can search as well. this question has come up before.

Take the oil fed from the oil journal, and you can either put a T to the oil pressure sender which is behind the exhaust manifold, or tap into the oil pan.
