I only have one fan in my Tibby.Im thinking of installing a second fan in place where the A/C fan is located.I will get one from a scarp yard and wire it up to an ON and OFF switch.I hope this helps.I also noticed my Stock Temp gauge was very close to the HOT zone.
I will try the second fan and see what happens.

Try to wire the a/c fan to your stock single radiator fan.

There is always an upgraded radiator... might be easier than an oil cooler.

Cheuk-

I have not been able to find any upgraded radiators for the Tibbies or elantra. I do have an overheating problem durring extended high speed runs. Recently, doing between 100 and 115mph accross the Mojave Desert (outside temps in the 90's and 100's, after about 30 minutes, the engine overheated, even with BOTH fans running. Turning my water injection system on kept the temps down/normal.

2Uniq-
Contact a junkyard and pick up an AC condenser fan (passenger side fan). It is much thinner than the main cooling fan. Wire it up to run with the ignition. (any time the car is on).

That should hopefully solve the majority of your overheating problems.

Random,

An upgraded radiator is available in Korea. It is somewhat expensive and would be costly to ship.

Cheuk, Shark Racing has a 40 foot container coming from Korea to California (where random is) every 3-4 weeks...so for him, shipping would almost be zero.
