Default Anyone pushing more than 30+ pounds?

Wondering what the highest PSI anyone is running. I think the biggest I saw was 22-25. Curious if anyone has broken the 30 mark.

I think Tiburon_Blanco with his crazy Puerto Rican GK Tiburon is pushing 36psi and over 500whp.

PSI means absolutely nothing in terms of horsepower.

I ran a 13g before at 37psi many times until it granaded. Hp? 229whp.

I ran a 20g before at 25~ psi. HP? 420~whp.

PSI has no correlation to hp unless you are comparing between to identical turbo's or you give the flowrate of the turbo/specs.

Any idea though on what the block will take before the pressure gets it? I know stock pistons and rods go so far. But if you upgrade like crazy how far will the block go? 40psi? 50psi?

Are we still talking about this psi nonsense? Block can take 1000000psi

Tanc you are obviously missing my question. At a certain point the stock block (not the parts inside) will fail. Has anybody ever pushed to that point? I've seen LS1's fail around 55psi. The cylinder wall just implodes and you have catastrophic decompression.

I assume from your answer above you have never seen a beta where the internals were not the failing component and the block was.

... Right now i am at 21psi, and running a rich tune and making 400whp off a 50trim... I know of one US Tib running 30'S on the street, and that MidnightMotoring. Other than him and a few other B&B tibs most of us are in the high teens low twenties.

red97tib pressure numbers without flow numbers are meaningless, is what he's trying to say.
