i have a speed factor log style manifold.

I've searched the forum about EGT sensor location, but I can't decide where to put.

i was going to put it in the collector, but I read some post saying that if the probe breaks, it will damage the turbo.

But if you put the probe after the turbo, you will lose a few hundred degrees, so that the gauge won't read the correct temperature.

I am confused now.

please help me!

Nate

if the probe breaks, whereever you put it, it will damage the turbo.. its gonna fall into the turbo anywhere its put in the manifold.

but man, you have asked ALOTA questions, that can be found in searching, and some of these threads are very unnessesary. its just getting kind of annoying.

but i put mine about 6" away from cyl. one.

and it will be argued, either cyl. 1 or cyl 4.. so just make sure your below 1500 degrees, and you should be ok.

Those are tough to break man, they are one piece.

GL to ya if you can break one by just the sheer force of your exhaust lol.

I've only seen one break on a 922whp cobra.

Also, if you put it after your turbo, you won't have accurate readings.

but remember,
