Kspec.com doesn't make turbo's or sell them.
For KITS, Alpine's sucks, it's poorly designed and almost everyone I know that has had one got rid of it.
Speed Factor, on the other hand, is the man when it comes to kits.

Welcome to the site, I've been through Bemidji a couple of times on my way out west.
I think kspec only sells manifolds.
Alpine sucks donkey balls.
Tim aka. Speed-Factor is the man with the Turbo plan.

Just out of interest what is the problem with the alpine kit, i have been using mine for years now and with no changes to the kit i have been running 250bhp with no problems at all. The only problem i did have was i had to get the chip remapped as the map on there was crap. Apart from that it spools up really fast and gives decent power. Ok its not as much as some but i just wondered why you say it is crap.
Aha so i take it then as my intercooler is 480x220x40 which isnt excactly that small(although i would like to know the flow rate), my turbo gives me 250bhp and spools really early with no alterations the real problem then is that you find it hard to get a unichip tuned in the US?
yeah because the US is quite large and there arent enough unichip dealers around here to make it a short drive if someone decides to put in new cams or something to that extent. Plus that kit is only good to abotu 250 at the most because the turbo. Plus i *HATE* the idea of a 5th injector.. its just a workaround. Its not a bad kit for $1500 but I wouldnt spend close to $3k on it... NEVER
I bought mine ages ago when i think it was a bit cheaper. To be honest ive been pretty happy with the kit, although i am starting to think about upgrading it. Problem is there isnt a lot of room for a larger intercooler and i dont want to go only slightly larger to find out that the flow rates are actually worse. That is one thing about alpine they are not very good about giving info out on thier kits so god knows just how good the cooler is. I have just ordered a nice new huge air filter (200mm base) that will go in the wheel arch so that should give me a few more horses rather than the Hot Air Intake i have at the mo.
Not sure if i want to change the turbo as i know i can get more out of it and i like the really low spool up it gives, i dont want 350hp that only starts to kick in at something like 3500rpm. Plus its hard to find out if i can get anything to fit onto thier manifold as they are so cagey with info.
One thing i do want to do is upsize the injectors and get rid of the 5th injector setup. Although it hasnt given me any hastle it will allow for more precise tuning with just the 4 rather than running rich just to be safe. But yet again its become hard to find any large injectors for a gen1 engine recently. Since the closing of crap KORE anyway. Also i will need a new contoller for this as my kit has one of the early unichips in it so it cant operate completely seperate to the stock ecu and god knows what to go for. I know the newer unichips can do this no problem but they are a little pricey over here(even though we have lots of tuners) I think i best get reading as i dont want to be paying £1000 for a chip that can do everything when there must be cheeper out there.
