Alpine Turbo Kit works great!!!
I finished my project today and finally got everything together. The alpine kit works great!!!!! At only 8 lbs of boost it really goes. I am installing the HKS EVC valve to be able to go higher. Iknow from others down here 16 is max for short periods of time. But can run 8 at low setting, 12 at high setting and 16 special mode for 30 seconds.
Other mods:
Alpine Turbo Kit and intercooler
Zefiro Body Kit
HKS Evc
HKS Turbo timer
HKS Sequential blow off valve
Thermotech insulation
Weapon R Intake
Eiback suspension
Massitally 16x7.5 Preidents
Yokohamas A520 215x40x16
Shark Racing Silver gauges
Autometer Exhaust temp and boost gauges
Pioneer CD deck with input source
Ipaq 1Gb(microdisk) PDA for WMA of MP3 juke box player(also used for work)
3 inch custom cat back (same diameter as exhaust from turbo).
Custom free flowing exhaust.
PIAA Xl110 light system
Turbulence plate
Silver 2001 Tiburon

Contact Alpine Developements for pricing. It's between 1900 and 3000 depending on options.
I've got photos of Mario's ride. I'll throw them up here when I get home.

No dyno around sorry. I suppose you can trust Alpine dyno readings on their web at 10lbs. I cannot tell above 10 lbs but it rides very smooth and cool. Random can post some of the pics. For the price is worth it no doubt.

I have a question about this Alpine kit, does it come with everything that a stock Tiburon would need to be turboed? Could I take this kit and my stock 98 tiburon to a shop and say, "install it" and I wouldn't have to purchase anything else? Thanks ahead oftime to anyone that responds.

Valdar:
The alpine kit is not complelete. You could run it as supplied, or with very few mods, and it might last you 50000 miles. But, if you want to make more than 170 Wheel HP or want the engine/kit to last longer than that, you will need to do some extensive upgrading.
The short list of "need" is:
Boost gauge
Blow Off Valve
new 3" exhaust with matching 3" cat and 3" muffler. (If you planned on not altering the kit, and keeping the boost below 12 psi...you could go with 2.5" exhaust)
The following is the list of "desirable" if you want your motor to last.
The alpine kit uses a head spacer to lower the compression. This is less than ideal, and should be replaced with low compression pistions (and higher strength rods as long as you are in there, but they are not 100% necessary)
Air Fuel Ratio gauge/meter
Oil Temp Gauge
Oil Pressure gauge
Water Temp gauge
EGT or CHT gauge
Removing the 5th injector supplied by alpine and replacing it with 4 larger injectors and some form of stand alone ECU replacment, would go a long way to making more power, and also longer life for the motor.
An Oil cooler and some form of axilary water/coolant cooler would also help.
There's more...but this should give you an idea of where to start.
