i have a beta II...the guys over at new tiburon can seem to give me a straight anwser...but i know some of my fellow rd tibs have them...can you tell me about it?

Get a turbo if your looking for power.. Xorro has about every engine mod possible, and with the alpine supercharger w/ aqua mist system, shes making like 200 whp.. Theres gotta be atleast 6k-8k or more in all the work.. You can get a complete system from speed-factor w/ intercooler, injectors, safc, for I think 2900 and make more HP.. The alpine S/C will only get you 180whp if your lucky w/ headwork, cams..

 

i was looking for simplicity...and something i could install myself....there are no dynos around me and would like to do everyting myself...i just thought that with the unichip it would just be plug and play....but it seems to be that this is just going to be a pain the a$$

 

I believe that w/ the unichip, you must have it retuned for all mods you do.. I THINK that it is calibrated for a S/C only.. So if you have other engine work or mods, you will have to get it retuned.. But im not 100%.. W/ the speed-factor turbo kit, you get a S-AFC2 w/ it, so you can adjust your a/f ratio yourself

 

yeah i was checking out the Alpine turbo kit...and it doesnt look too bad to intall...

does the speedfactor kit come with a head spacer or a pistons?

Stay away from Alpine Turbo charger..... I heard a lot of problem with the ECU...... By it from Speed Factor.... has a lot of customer in here.... lol.gif lol.gif

 

the head GASKET you can get from www.kspec.com they sell Turbo gaskets now too. Same for the pistons.

As for Xorro the only thing She doesn't have done is having the displacement bumped up.

There was a co. in AU that was doing this :

slighty larger (still 2.0L) / bored to 2.1L / and Bored to 2.2L

Above were the three phases they had.

I dont remember the name. I dont even know if they are still in business.

 

Do a search mang, we've had the SC discussion. They really just do not work well with the Beta. Sorry.

Best I've EVER seen for power on one is Xorro's, 199 HP to the wheels, but that's after water injection and LOTS of tuning.
