Default almost there...

ok, i have the t3 and e-manage. i'm getting the kore manifold, a custom downpie, and steel braided oil/water lines. so...
i plan on running 5 psi to start with.
do i need...
a rrfpr?
a new fuel pump?
clutch?

is there anything i'm forgetting? also, will i even need to tune with the e-manage at 5 psi, or will the stock maf and ecu be able to handle it?
if so, when will i need to start tuning with the e-manage?

U have to check how to adjest ignition timing.

E-manage not support internal ignitor type ecu
like BOSCH, Siemens.

You wanna explain that to me.

It has ports for ignition channels 1-6

And the diagram showing it cutting in between the ecu and coil.

Umm... may be very hard to explain
with my poor English....

Yep, E-manage have 6 igniton port.

So, E-manage can support 6-individual
ignition engine like SKYLINE's RB26DETT.

Most of japanese car and japanese car's US model have stand alone Power Transistor for
drive Igintion COIL.

but HYUNDAI Coupe and 96~ Elantra include power
TR in EMS.
It's a very important point.

E-manage's Ignition input-port can support
only Stock EMS's Power TR drive signal.
if you try to adjust change ignition time.
E-manage output changed TR drive signal use
input signal.

But in the case on Coupe or elantra stock
EMS's ignition output is not TR drive signal
It's Igintion swiching sig.

that's why can'y use E-manage on Coupe or Elantra.

I kinda understand.

so you are saying the e-manage adds to the ignition between the ECU and TR
And not between the TR and COIL ?

This is very curious, I wonder then if the smt-5/6 works in this fashion and thats why no can get it to work.

The reason, I am confused is

speedstate.com sells the e-manage and assure it will work.

Or they will refund it. But they said they have asold a few and no one has complained.

Sorry for my poor english.

Yep, E-manage have to locate
between ECU and TR.
get e-manage and try install.

I've been tested e-manage on tiburon
in korea(siemans ecu), not work ignition.
and test too, Bosch used KIA car.
not work too.

But now i have solution to work. ^^

you got e-manage english manual from

http://www.mkiv.com/tmp/emanage/emanage_ma...nual/index.html

http://www.mkiv.com/tmp/emanage/emanage_so.../esm/index.html

Greddy not explain how to set
genuine tiburon's MAP sensor, MAF sensor and rotary switchs.

You did good job.

yep, on tibron,
if you set rotary swich to 3 8 A
(map or maf same)may be e-manage will
work HONDA engine mode.

E-manage not have exactly mode for tiburon or
Elantra.
