completely agree the top end HP is much lower than what I expected.
The engine has 2.00mm decompression gasket

garrett gt28rs t25 is rated at 300hp
the information I read on the garrett T3 super 60 is that its rated at 400-500hp.

Before the Turbo upgrade was started, I thought I would easily get 250HP
In the next 1-18 months i'm replacing various selected parts, starting from turbo manifold, IM, TB.

rods and pistons is going to be the very last one done.
Once I do the engine internals, this is almost like a brand new engine, except the cylinder head.

The GT28RS is a ball bearing turbo that spools up more quickly than the T3... There are the main advantages, I think.

yep, the t3 super 60 will flow a little more though.

the decomp plate helps to explain, but you should still be making more. any fuel problems? got a dyno with af below?

You should be able to get 250 WHP easily with the turbo your using. There is another 4 cly with the same turbo pushing around 280WHP with it.

the super 60 is rated more for around 350 max just like the gt28rs (they use the same compressor wheels)

DanielG made 288 whp with a regular t28 and a semi tuned car

just be warned that most "super 60" sold over the web and in a few shops are in fact regular "60" t3 compressor

the "super 60" was a compressor made by turbonetics for the dodge 2.2 and 2.5 it's now used widely and often over used

Gary, DanielG made 288whp with a stock beta intake manifold, stock cylinder head, stock throttle body and low compression piston

RENANTE, do you have internal wastegate or the manifold that you are looking is for an external wastegate??

the compressor housing are the same from the outside
only the size of the inlet opening and the small diameter of the compressor wheel are different
the super 60 is a little bit larger
60 inducer 1.830" exducer2.367"
Super 60 inducer 1.900" exducer 2.367"

My turbo is internal wastegate.

I've already received the manifold from T4turbotiburon
The piping is much thicker and the design is completly different to my existing manifold on the car.
