Default Shifting Smoother

I am practicing to shift smoother in my Tiburon and wanted to see if I can get any tips. The biggest issue is 1st to 2nd gear. I can do a smooth shift there, but I feel like I am riding the clutch too long. Do I need to rev match to compensate instead?

You should always rev match anyways, so partial yes. There are probably a hundred youtube videos and a thousand web pages devoted to telling you how to shift smoothly. It's universal knowledge, not specific to your make or model. Google is your friend here.

What is specific to your make and model is that, unless someone has removed it, there is a restrictor in the slave cylinder to slow the hydraulics when you work the clutch. If you really want to do better with your third pedal, take that restrictor out.
