ok ... like i said in my post i wasnt trying to sound like an ass. all i meant which apprently wasn't conveyed in what i had typed was that any extra info about parasitic drivetrain losses at this time would not help me. it's not that the answers + extra info are not appreciated ... but rather that extra info other than what i had asked to begin with is overload on what i need to know at this time. and only makes it harder and less clear for me on what i need to research exactly concerning ... why the losses are there and why the solutions exactly work. so with that said ... i didn't intend to be a jerk in what i had typed and wish to continue this topic. sorry if you guys took it the wrong way ....
anyways besides what Digital had posted in the now locked topic .... are there any other causes of and solutions to parasitic drive train losses that anyone can think of?

Digital pretty much covered them all.
Low viscosity, synthetic fluids for engine, tranny and rear diff.
Underdrive pulley for reducing accessory losses.
Lightened flywheel / driveshafts / wheels / tires.
Lightened Valvetrain and pistons / rods.
Lower resistance tires... less tire / road frictional losses.... skinny high pressure rear tires.
